New: Beginning Oboe Course!

I am SO excited to announce that I have partnered with Uncaptured Entertainment to release a weekly, beginner oboe video lesson course! This is designed for students brand new to playing the oboe and will be released in June 2024 as a subscription service (that you can sign up for here).

Every week you will receive an email from me including:

  • Fundamental videos demonstrating how to play, how to read sheet music, and how to read a fingering chart
  • A lesson page with your weekly music assignments (These lessons are straight from my brand new method book that won't be released to the public until 2023!)
  • Videos that go along with your lesson pages - demonstrating new concepts, showing how to practice tricky sections, and playing every exercise so you can practice along

Along with this, part of your subscription includes a group chat with the others signed up for this course and with the students in my studio. This is where you'll get a chance to ask questions, talk about what fun or frustrating things about the oboe, meet other oboists, and more.

Be sure to sign up on my Learn Oboe page with the Online Learner tier so you don't miss out. I look forward to seeing you next month!

Set against the backdrop of a changing Berlin in 1931, Cabaret follows the vibrant world of the Kit Kat Club, where performers dazzle and life feels carefree—at least on the surface. As the political climate darkens, the story of an American writer and a British cabaret singer becomes a haunting reflection on love, identity, and the dangers of looking away. A gripping, unforgettable musical that confronts the fragility of freedom.

Ogden Musical Theatre presents: The Scarlet Pimpernel in concert

Saturday, February 28 @ 7:30PMSat, Feb 28 @ 7:30PM

Peery's Egyptian Theater, 2415 Washington Blvd, Ogden

The Scarlet Pimpernel is a swashbuckling action/adventure musical, based on Baroness Orczy’s famous 20th-century novel about the French Revolution and the battle for Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. With an epic, sweeping book by Nan Knighton and a rousing and passionate score by Knighton and Frank Wildhorn, The Scarlet Pimpernel is a colorful window into 18th-century French and British history. The show’s most popular numbers include “Into The Fire,” “When I Look At You,” “You Are My Home,” “She Was There” and “I’ll Forget You.” “A family-oriented musical that’s part boy’s adventure story, part Harlequin romance... with a light and springy step.” – The New York Times

What Does "In-Concert" Mean? An in-concert production presents the full musical score performed live by talented vocalists and a full orchestra, but with minimal staging, sets, and costumes. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the music and storytelling in their purest form—spotlighting the power of the performers, the orchestra, and the score itself.
