This first concert of the season will open with a performance of “Requiem for the Fallen,” a work written by COO bass trombonist Steve S. Talbot Jr. as a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Robert Schumann’s “Symphony No. 2 in C, Opus 61,” and Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Capriccio Italien, Opus 45” will round out this program.
